DH Systems – the power behind The SalvageMarket and many leading vehicle websites announces the latest features coming to our customers websites.
Matching breakers on SalvageMarket
DH Systems has added a new feature to The SalvageMarket website. When a customer views a salvage vehicle, the web page makes a call to DH Systems PartShark server which searches for, and matches breaking vehicles that match exactly or are similar to the vehicle being viewed. This enables the customer to easily find parts that will fit on the salvage vehicle – so repairs and servicing can easily take place. The end result? Sell more parts, get more bids, generate higher income.
Entering your registration number on the website will allow you to find exact matching parts and breaking vehicles that will fit your vehicles. This takes away all the problems of finding the nearest vehicle or parts, and will allow you to find parts much more quickly than before.
With our shared database of customer data, we can match far more vehicles than anyone else, and return many more results – allowing you to find the part you need.
The next stage of the development will allow customers to sell their scrap or end of life vehicles easily, by entering the registration number and the details automatically being filled in.
Frontier desktop will be updated to allow customers to call up with only a registration number and the operator to find exact matching parts and vehicles.
PartShark – is the new website from DH Systems that allows you to search and list matching vehicles among all our customers who participate.
Silverlake Autoparts based in Southampton have joined the growing ranks of website powered by DH Systems.
The new website contains many vehicle pages – Salvage, Breakers, Parts, Auctions; with the data coming straight from their Frontier desktop system via our latest upload services.
DH Systems has developed the technology to allow the exporting of vehicles for sale, salvage vehicles, breaking vehicles, vehicle parts and auctioned vehicles to show directly on your website without any additional work by the users. The process is completely automated and integrates into your existing workflow.
Silverlake are the latest company to take advantage of this technology and present the information to their target audience via their new website.
The Silverlake website takes advantage of all the latest features, including interactive AJAX based salvage, breaking and parts pages – along with the latest in parts not available lists and matching parts and breaking vehicles.
DH Systems developed the vehicle parts shopping cart, so customers are able to buy parts directly on the website from Silverlake Autos. The front-end to back-end system, allows sales on the website to be directly imported into Frontier and remove the parts from stock, and pass on the messages to our other technology such as the Touch Screen Dismantling, which informs the dismantlers to remove the part from the vehicle (if required). The message is then passed onto the Touch Screen Packaging, so the part can be packed and dispatched in a timely manner.

M&J Autos, based in Essex have recently chosen DH Systems’ Industry Leading Frontier Salvage & Dismantling system after deciding to migrate away from Actual systems.
DH Systems were able to take the existing data from their old system, and import and convert the data over to the Frontier Salvage & Dismantling system. Not only does this mean that M&J Autos runs only one system, it also means that their entire history of vehicles is available in the new system for them to use.
With their new system, they immediately have the ability to upload vehicle data to both their website and the SalvageMarket auction website.
M&J Autos website was linked to their old system which meant that the data for the website was going to be out of date very quickly. DH Systems managed an orderly transition between their old data and new data, and provided a new design for their own website, all in a timely and seamless manner.
Overall, M&J Autos had a very smooth and orderly transition from their old system to the new system, and now benefit from the most widely used and industry standard Frontier Salvage & Dismantling system.
Their website listing can be viewed: Salvage list, Breaking list.
All powered and hosted by DH Systems.

DH Systems Consultancy Ltd announces the launch of the UK’s premier Salvage Auction website.
DH Systems has enabled the UK’s salvage industry to auction their salvage vehicles on a UK wide website and have introduced several new technological innovations to the online auction world.
The Salvage Market website provides access to thousands of vehicles around the country from over sixty of the leading salvage companies. A central resource for finding salvage vehicles is making it easier for potential buyers to find suitable vehicles and is providing a much larger audience for each salvage member.
It is no longer necessary to watch an auction right until the end. The new auction site provides the ability to place proxy bids, where you can enter a maximum bid, and the system will bid on your behalf up to your maximum bid. For those people who prefer to watch the auctions, the bidding page now automatically updates in real-time, so there is no longer the need to keep refreshing the page to see any changes.
DH Systems have implemented a Watch List page which allows each user to view twenty vehicles at a time, all automatically updating in real-time and giving the bidders the ability to bid on any of those vehicles.
