The company is based in a modern office building in South Gyle, Edinburgh which is easily accessible by bus, car, tram and train.
We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Responsive Web Developer to join the Web team.
You will have knowledge of:
– PHP, MySQL, LAMP Stack
– Adobe Creative Suite (Dreamweaver/PhotoShop)
– Microsoft Office (Outlook/Word/Excel/etc)
– Responsive web design (Bootstrap)
Knowledge of the following will be beneficial:
– Cloud technology (Amazon AWS), S3, SES
– Native Android for Phones and Tablets (Java)
– Adobe Illustrator, InDesign
– Basic Linux command line
– Servers, Virtual Servers, Basic Networking
– SVN, Source Control
A PHP/MySQL programming test will be given during the interview.
The position will involve maintaining existing websites, creating new custom websites and developing new technology for all our websites. We are currently developing Android Apps and you will be expected to maintain and develop features for these. The successful candidates will also be comfortable talking to customers both to provide high quality support and understand their needs.
Salary: depending on experience, in the range of £25,000 to £40,000 for the right candidate.
